Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. The extent to which you have considered the needs of your guests offers insight into your thoughtful and welcoming nature. There really is nothing lacking here!

From the detailed guest folder to the umbrella in the drawer for the occasional shower, you really have thought of everything. It truly felt like a ‘home from home’ and you certainly lived up to your motto.

Our two boys had lots of fun due to the many facilities (pool, trampoline, net sports, waterslide, etc.) we would not hesitate to recommend the Annexe and its lovely surrounding grounds.

We have had such a fabulous holiday here at Owl Cottage and really don’t want to leave.

The Gite has been perfect for us in every way and you have thought of everything! The heated pool and well-equipped play and sports area have kept our boys fully entertained, while we loved bbg-ing in the sunshine, the outdoor eating and your beautiful gardens.

In addition, we really appreciated all of the work you put in compiling a compendium of all of the things to do and see in Brittany and surrounding area – we have loved getting out and about and every day has been different.

While all of this has been more than we could have expected, it is your warmth and kindness that has made this a holiday to remember.

The cottage had all my requirements were met (Wifi, dishwasher, washing machine, and garden for the children) and it’s in a good central location for exploring Brittany.

We give 10/10 for the garden equipment provided for the children. We found the photos on the Internet are a good representation of what to expect. The gite was perfect. We found the hosts very helpful and there were lots of toys for the children. Yes, a comfortable family-run gite, with everything you need.

We have had a wonderful holiday exploring Morbihan from the beaches, Vannes, Lizio, and Carnac, not to mention the mercy-run to the supermarket on Saturday evening. Our search criteria for our holiday cottage included price and family friendliness. Parc du Lutin gets a big tick on both of these but also benefits from immaculately clean and well provisioned/equipped. We were pleasantly surprised to find the rooms were much bigger than they looked on the photos. Janine and Ekkehard have thought of everything. The TV, washing machine and other kitchen equipment were all new and the cottages have been beautifully decorated. The gardens are well laid out and we appreciated using the herb garden.

To sum up, lovely cottage, helpful friendly hosts and a beautiful setting. Big thumbs up from us.

Clean, full facilities,  good information about the local area, a friendly welcome, very thoughtful owners as we were left basic foods (tea/butter/milk/ homemade jam. Lots for children to do.

The cottage is very spacious, fits 6 easily. Loved the grounds. Quite. Pool, play equipment. Children loved the equipment. Parking easy. Views.

We had a lovely time. We would love to come back.

Where do I start? We have just returned from a fabulous 2 weeks stay at the Annexe. It was quite simply the most perfect location for a break from our busy lives at home.

The location is ideal to allow you to explore Morbihan and beyond – with somewhere new to visit every time we wanted an adventure. Equally, we enjoyed some days of pure relaxation, with our three kids (9, 7 and 4) enjoying all the amenities on-site – more space than they could ever use, trampoline, swings set, various volleyball, and swing sets… and of course the fabulous little pool, which they used every day. We also discovered a family love for table tennis and had great fun identifying the family champion over the 2-week break!

The accommodation is superb, spacious, spotlessly clean, fully equipped with things you didn’t even know you might need! Janine is just lovely and incredibly helpful – always available on site but very discrete. I was able to easily feed my family of fussy eaters – choosing to cook most evenings in the fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher – hurrah!) – Reguiny is only a 4 minute drive away so the intermarche there allowed me to keep the fridge stocked and I popped out to the boulangerie every morning for fresh bread. We ate most meals outdoors in the sunshine – at the beautiful large table and chairs on our doorstep, with our huge parasol sheltering us when necessary.

I cannot recommend this property highly enough – if you are looking for a real break away from it all where your kids will have the freedom to enjoy the French sunshine whilst being completely safe – and you want the space and luxury of the good life – book now!

Gîte très bien équipé (tout est prévu pour les jeunes enfants avec du matériel neuf et de qualité : chaise haute, lit parapluie, barrières de sécurité à l escalier, pot, réhausseur, …) confortable. Le parc du gîte est immense, calme et lui aussi très bien équipé. Posez vos valises pour un séjour reposant entre balades dans la forêt de Broceliande et virées iodées dans le golfe du Morbihan. Nous recommandons vivement ce gîte et reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

We stayed for a week in the Annexe with our two girls aged 6 and 8. There was plenty of space and the property was modern and very clean throughout with a very well equipped kitchen (we cooked quite a lot) and generally, everything you could want was provided- the owners were keen to make sure this was the case. The visitors’ information book provided us with everything we needed to know as well as good ideas for trips and recommendations.

Outside is great especially for children- there is loads of space and every activity you could think of for all ages, all safely enclosed so the children explored and played freely. The outside eating area and surrounding garden are very pleasant, there are different areas to relax and the pool was enjoyed by the children at least once a day.

The owners were friendly, thoughtful and helpful, giving us some useful ideas for trips. It is a quiet rural location, but around 10-15 mins drive from two interesting towns- Josselin with its chateau is particularly lovely and we all enjoyed cycling along the canal there (miles of flat, wide paths).

Lovely owners who do everything they can to make sure you have everything you need for your holiday. Brilliant garden especially for children with pool, water slide, swings and trampoline. Lots of extras to keep children happy.

We thoroughly recommend the Annex at Parc de Lutin to any family, in particular, those with toddlers to early teenagers, looking for a great, worry-free and relaxing holiday in the peaceful Brittany countryside. The Annex is a beautiful gite and the facilities outside are excellent. The swimming pool has been this weeks highlight with us in it every day. The owners next door are the perfect hosts and ensure that guests lack nothing. The excellent comprehensive information folder makes interesting reading and most useful. Thank you for seven lazy hazy days!!

The cottage and garden are brilliant, we couldn’t have asked for a better one. The size of the gite and garden actually exceeded our expectations.

The Annexe is a lovely cottage, very clean all round, fully equipped and very spacious for a family of four (5 and 7 yr old boys). The garden is huge and has a massive pool, separate water slide, trampoline, football goals, table tennis, basketball hoop, swing set, and seating areas in various places.

We were made to feel instantly at home from the moment we arrived. Janine gave us a great tour of the cottage and garden and both she and her husband were available if we had any questions (they have also compiled a big binder full of ideas and recommendations). They are wonderful hosts!

A well-stocked supermarket and bakery are just a five-minute drive away. Josselin, which is a charming little town with castle and restaurants, is 20 min away (we rented a little boat there and the kids had a go at steering it down the river). Great beaches at Carnac and Damgan were about 1 hr drive away, Vannes is slightly closer and a fun town to explore. We did a treetop adventure in St Roc, visited Pont Scorff zoo, and had some great walks in the Val sans Retour and at Lac du Guerledan (Bois de Caurel circular walk). And it was a pleasure to come “home” at the end of the day and relax while the kids played in the garden.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind.

Great holiday and a wonderful week in a lovely cottage, surroundings wonderful and lots to do in the grounds for both big and little kids, made the most of the pool when hot and pleasant evenings spent outside inc toasting Marshmallows on the last night. Wonderful family and a pleasure to recommend the Annexe to anyone. Local Towns delightful and many Beaches/attractions within an hours drive of the cottage.

[:fr]Un petit déjeuner dans un beau jardin avec seulement le bruit des oiseaux, un gîte très agréable, aux poutres apparentes, amoureusement décoré et superbement équipé, que demander de plus? Le plus c’est la bienveillance, le sourire et l’accueil des Muller, les propriétaires, c’est leur propriété ouverte à de larges espaces verts, un potager que Mme Muller vous fait visiter avec les yeux qui brillent , c’est Mr Muller qui ,discrètement, sait se montrer disponible, c’est les commerces de proximité et les villes avoisinantes comme Josselin pour découvrir la région.

Nous sommes allés en ce gîte un peu à la découverte, nous y retournerons sûrement pour revoir les Muller, profiter du site, goûter de nouveau à leurs confitures, leurs tomates…

Nous aimerions garder cette adresse secrète rien que pour nous… Ce serait cependant très égoïste car nous y avons passé de superbes journées et l’adresse mérite d’être partagée.

Attentive owners who are keen to please! They saw that we had decided to catch the setting sun upon the field so the next day they brought extra seating out to use each evening. The pool was religiously cleaned each day. We would strongly recommend this property for its facilities and peaceful expansive site. Thanks for a great break!

Accueil chaleureux, famille attentive aux besoins de ses hôtes. Logement spacieux, conforme aux photos et très bien équipé. L’extérieur est également conforme aux photos et un paradis pour les enfants.

Il faut prévoir 1 heure de route pour effectuer des sorties en famille telles que ballade du père Nicolas, ferme du monde, jardins de Brocéliande, aquarium de Vannes, jardin aux papillons et 1 heure du bord de mer.

Gite has access to large private lands suited to children who can play and explore in safety. Friendly owners on-site nearby. Gite has all the practical necessities including wifi. Lots to see and do nearby or just relaxing. Tranquil location ideal for getting away from it all. Sorry to leave could stay much longer…

Lovely cottage with great equipment for children. Hosts could not have been more welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Lots to do for families in the area from bike riding, canoeing and visits to the beach. All in all a very relaxing 2 weeks.

We arrived slightly early and from that moment we were made to feel extremely welcome. The owners couldn’t be more helpful. We have three children aged 14,12 and 7 and there is plenty to keep them entertained.
We were fortunate enough to have three days of glorious hot sunshine meaning the kids could make the most of the large pool. When not in the pool the older boys become masters of table tennis, while our youngest daughter burned her energy off on the trampoline and swings. As parents, we could relax knowing they were able to run around and play safely within the grounds.

The cottage is beautiful and is fully equipped with everything you need. We would highly recommend this cottage and would come back again without any hesitation.

We had a lovely stay at Owl Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed both the area and the facilities available at the cottage.

There was plenty of information about the area in the cottage guide folder and failing that the owners were very helpful but not intrusive so just what you need. The cottage itself would easily cater for 6 people and one of the twin bedrooms is separate (with its own staircase) so would be really good for when our boys are older and want their own space.

As well as the games, the garden area then extends into a field so you have a large amount of space and privacy around you.

There is a small town with a supermarket, bakeries and restaurants about 4km away (15 mins by bike) which was very handy and the pretty town of Josselin is only ~10-15 minutes away. Further afield the Lac au Duc is a good place for watersports or a 14 km cycle ride or walk and the beaches at Damgan are large and not too busy. Our favourite was cycling along the canal and then coming back for a swim.

The kids loved being able to try lots of different games and it was good fun playing table tennis in the evening.

Owl cottage lived up to and surpassed all of my expectations. The cottage was lovely, well furnished with ample space to accommodate my family of 6. With its own dedicated entrance and driveway, it felt like your very own home for your stay. The outside courtyard areas with its own barbeque along with the pool and the vast amount of safe space for my children to run around and play made our trip relaxing and special.

Set in a rural area of Brittany meant it was very peaceful & relaxing but close enough to towns, markets and the coast allowed us to explore the region enjoying its sights, markets and wonderful food during the days.

The owners and their family were very welcoming and always on hand to offer advice or help if wanted. Nothing was too much for them and they have supplied various different actives and equipment, such as table tennis, badminton & football pitch for you to use.

Over all my family and I had a great holiday and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a family holiday exploring this area and looking for a place to relax, unwind and switch off from their busy working days. It was an experience we would be happy to repeat in the future.

We had a great stay in The Annexe, the accommodation is really excellent and has all the mod cons you need while retaining original features. The Annexe is surrounded by lovely peaceful gardens, a perfect escape from the pressure of 21st century living. We had a warm welcome and the owners were extremely helpful providing information about a wealth of interesting places to visit in the local area. We had a fantastic holiday just sorry we only had one week, a 2nd week relaxing by the pool would have been fantastic.

My wife and our three daughters stayed in Owl Cottage and had a wonderful time. Mr & Mrs Muller were extremely welcoming and helpful, and the cottage is spacious and very well equipped. The swimming pool, children’s games and the spaciousness of the garden area all make this property very well suited for families. The cottage is in a rural area with several villages nearby, and larger towns 15-20 min drive away. Josselin and Pontivy are well worth a visit, as are Carnac and Vannes further afield. Thoroughly recommended for a welcoming, relaxing holiday location in a beautiful part of France, with excellent facilities and provisions.

Stayed for a week during Aug 2013. Lovely stay at the Annexe. What makes our stay memorable is the large grounds which allow the children freedom to play and explore whilst being safe. Very peaceful location and friendly owners on-site to help and assist.

The space, the charm of the cottage. The full facilities of the kitchen. It is very complete and comfortable. There is nothing to change, it’s perfect. It was better than expected because of the park. It’s comparable to a 4-star gîte.
